What is Micropigmentation? It's the implantation of colour into the upper dermal layer of the skin. The equipment and pigments are specially designed to give a natural enhancement of eyebrows, eye-lining, lip-lining and full lip creation.
It's also used for paramedical procedures such as re-pigmentation of areola/nipple after reconstructive surgery, pigment implantation for hair simulation (loss of hair from alopecia, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, burns or accidents), and colour correction for cosmetic make-up mistakes or pigment fade-out.
Who benefits: anyone who wants freedom from daily make-up, sports people and those with oily skin, people with sparse or thinning eyebrows, people with allergies to conventional make-up, those who are physically or visually impaired, burns survivors and accident victims, alopecia sufferers, and those undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy.

Permanency: results typically last 18 months to 4–5 years, averaging around 3 years — this depends on skin health and pigment colour, as yellow-based pigments fade faster than red or blue-based ones.
Discomfort: topical anaesthetics made for micropigmentation are used before and during the procedure to keep discomfort to a minimum, though pain tolerance varies between people.
Recovery: most procedures heal in around 7 days with some flaking (full lip creation can take up to 14 days). Expect 30–40% colour loss as the pigment heals — a follow-up treatment is booked 6–8 weeks later.
Consultation: if you're unsure whether micropigmentation is right for you, book a free consultation with Meena to discuss your needs. Paramedical procedures such as re-pigmentation of cleft-lip, burns, areola/nipple, vitiligo, or camouflage for scars and stretch marks are also available — please call to discuss.

Book NowThe Med Ultra (Intense Pulsed Light) is technically not a real laser. IPL uses white light of broad wavelength that affects pigmentation, broken capillaries and hair follicles. Once within the dermis, pigment is shattered and eliminated by the body's metabolism. IPL also boosts collagen production, making skin more youthful, radiant and bright, and can remove fine wrinkles.
For hair removal, the light passes through the epidermis to hair follicles deep in the skin — high temperature at the targeted area destroys follicles and hair shafts to prevent regrowth.

IPL RF uses bi-polar radio frequency and IPL energies together. RF converts electrical resistance in tissue to thermal energy deeper within the dermis, stimulating new collagen and re-arranging collagen tissue, which tightens the dermal tissue and reduces wrinkles. RF penetrates up to 4mm into the skin, while IPL penetrates up to 2.5mm.
Applications: acne and vascular lesions; redness of the face, neck or chest, and acne scarring; skin rejuvenation, pigment and wrinkle treatment; photo-ageing or sun damage; freckling, irregular pigmentation, coarse skin, brown age-spots and melasma; shrinking pores; and hair removal anywhere on the body including face, chest, back, bikini line and underarms.
Book NowLED is the basis for photo-modulation — a scientific process that uses wavelengths in the visible light spectrum to send calibrated packets of light into the dermal layer, setting off cellular activity to produce softer, more youthful looking skin.
Applications: stimulates collagen to help smooth the skin; assists with acne management and heals blemishes; targets enlarged pores and cold sores; increases oxygen circulation for faster recovery after surgery; firms skin with its facial toning action; helps sun-damaged skin; minimises fine lines and wrinkles; reduces brown age spots, redness and flushing; regenerates and stimulates collagen production; and helps irregular pigmentation.
For best results, use LED directly after a facial, waxing, threading, peel or micropigmentation treatment.

The Med Ultra HS-100 Microdermabrader uses a controlled vacuum to move sterile microcrystals to abrade the stratum corneum (the layer of dead skin cells), peeling with diamond tips. After multiple treatments, this skin renewal procedure can soften and smooth fine lines, lighten pigmented spots, and improve acne and many other skin imperfections.
Treatment effect: enhances dull skin texture by gently resurfacing the superficial layers; softens fine "expression" lines around the mouth and eyes; polishes and reduces fine lines caused by ageing and sun damage; smooths pigment changes and skin discolouration; contracts enlarged pores and clears clogged pores in cases of acne; and polishes the margins of acne, stretch marks and superficial or burn scars.
Do you want defined eyebrows with longer lasting results? Try threading — you might just get addicted. Eyebrow threading shapes brows like no other technique can, and it's an all-natural, chemical-free hair removal method.
What are henna brows? Elleebana's Brow Henna colouring agents are derived from the leaves and flowers of the henna plant, offering superior skin stain and brow colouration. Containing hydrolysed proteins, a vitamin complex and antioxidants, it helps strengthen and restore hair growth and improves the natural condition of eyebrow hair — perfect for sparse, over-plucked brows or brows recovering from a rough waxing experience.
Threading hair is an ancient method commonly practiced in Eastern countries like Egypt and India, and is becoming very popular in the West. It removes the entire hair from the follicle as a temporary method of hair removal. The course covers: Part 1 — learning the basics of threading, techniques and hair growth; Part 2 — hair removal, proper positioning and basic techniques; Part 3 — the eyebrow, discussing shapes, symmetry and precision before creating beautiful brow shapes.
Course includes: hands-on step-by-step training, materials needed for threading, a training manual, professional threading technique figures, speed threading technique, and same-day certification of completion.
Premium kit includes: 2 pencils, 2 tweezers, 1 scissors, 2 thread, and 10 alcohol wipes.
This is a 2-day course of intense training, for qualified beauty therapists only. $1,500 per person + GST.
